AEW All Out Preview

Saturday night All Elite Wrestling takes over Chicago and the Sears Centre Arena for AEW All Out. In the same arena where just one year ago The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, and Cody Rhodes changed the professional wrestling world, they will look to replicate their success of All in with All Out. This will be the second PPV under the AEW brand and most likely their last one before the debut of their weekly show on TNT. We have two championship matches scheduled, a women's battle royal to determine who gets a shot at the inaugural championship and much much more. Lets take a look at what the match card looks like for Saturday nights event...

AEW All Out-8:00pm Pay Per View:

Womens Casino Battle Royal-(Winner gets a shot at inaugural title)

Private Party vs Angelico and Jack Evans

Riho vs Hikaru Shida

Luchasaurus, Jungle boy, and Marko Stunt vs So-Cal Uncensored

Joey Janela vs Jimmy Havoc vs Darby Allin

Best Friends vs Dark Order-(Winner gets a first round bye in tag team tournament)

Cody vs Shawn Spears(w/Tully Blanchard)

AAA Tag Team Championship Ladder Match- Lucha Brothers(c) vs The Young Bucks

Kenny Omega vs Pac

AEW World Championship Match-Chris Jericho vs Adam Page

That is a look at all the matches that are scheduled for Saturday nights event as we have 10 matches in total. Unfortunately, Jon Moxley had to drop out of his match against Kenny Omega due to an injury and I have to tell you I am extremely disappointed. That was the match I was most looking forward to. However, Pac is a great replacement so that match between him and Omega should be awesome. Also, it gives us even more of a build up to the eventual showdown between Moxley and Omega.

Were going to take a little bit of a more in depth preview of all the matches for Saturday night. Now, there a a decent amount of people that I don't know too much about as AEW is brand new so I am going to do my best to give my insight on these matches based off what I do know. Let's take a look at a preview for the 10 matches for AEW All Out!

Womens Casino Battle Royal-(Winner gets a shot at inaugural title)

There has been 11 total women confirmed for this match out of the 21 total. So far we have some familiar faces, a legend, and a lot of upcoming stars. The format will be the same as the Buy in battle royal back at Double or Nothing where there will be groups entering at a time and the women who draws the Joker card will enter last. This should be an exciting way to kickoff the night with the winner getting a title shot for a chance to be the first AEW women's champion. This will be on during the first hour of the show so make sure you tune in early.

Private Party vs Angelico and Jack Evans

This should be an exciting tag team match for the buy in show as from what I've seen from Private Party they are extremely entertaining to watch. I don't know all that much about Angelico or Jack Evans so I am interested to see how they perform.

Joey Janela vs Jimmy Havoc vs Darby Allin

A triple threat match the will not dissapoint at all. These three are all super exciting to watch and all three of them in one ring at the same time should be epic. We saw flashes of how good Joey Janela can be back in the Casino Battle Royal at Double or Nothing. On Saturday night we will get the chance to see how good he is against two other great wrestlers. Darby Allin is a young an upcoming guy who showcased his talent against Cody back at Fytre Fest in what was a fantastic match. Jimmy Havoc was also in the battle royal at double or nothing and also competed in a fatal four way match back at Fyter Fest. All three of these guys have a lot of talent and this triple threat match could easily be the highlight of the night. It is also a great chance for them to become household names before AEW weekly show debuts.

Best Friends vs Dark Order-(Winner gets a first round bye in tag team tournament)

The Dark order came out of nowhere at Double or Nothing as they debut and took out everyone in sight. Now just a few months later here they are making their debut with a chance to move on in the AEW Tag Team Championship Tournament. I don't think anyone really knows what to expect from the Dark Order because we haven't really seen them much. The Best Friends are an exciting tag team to watch will some high flying ability that will definitely get showed off. It is tough to really say how this match will go since I don't know too much about either team.

Riho vs Hikaru Shida

I know absolutely nothing about either of these two ladies. Literally nothing at all, so it would be unfair to even try and do a preview of this match. Hopefully its entertaining and by the next time AEW has a PPV event that they are on I will be able to provide a little more insight.

Luchasaurus, Jungle Boy, and Marko Stunt vs SCU

AEW has said that they are going to make the tag team division a major part of their program. I must say since the creation of AEW they have done a great job of showcasing just how great tag team wrestling can be. If this was a WWE PPV it would feel like they just threw these six guys into a match because they had nothing better for them to do. With AEW that isn't the case, they have done a great job of building these two teams up to make it so they aren't wrestling just because. This 6 man tag should be very exciting and its one of the matches I am really looking forward to.

Cody(w/???? vs Shawn Spears(w/Tully Blanchard)

The chair shot heard around the world...back at Fyter Fest Shawn Spears shocked the world as he drilled Cody over the head with a steel chair. Cody was left in a pool of his own blood and Spears felt no remorse. Now, Saturday night theses two will go face to face in a match that could get ugly quick. Shawn Spears had such a lackluster run in WWE as he was one of the many superstars that was misused and will now have a chance to shine in AEW. If you watch the youtube series The Road to All Out you will see in the first episode how good his promo skills can be. Spears is really going to be able to show that he can be a main event talent with AEW and this match against Cody will prove just how good he is. As for Cody, he was in the same situation as spears before he left WWE and he reinvented his career and is now one of the biggest stars in wrestling. I am hoping there is a no DQ added to this match because it would make it even ten times better. Either way this is going to be a great match and you are definitely going to want to make sure you're watching for this one.

AAA Tag Team Championship Ladder Match- Lucha Brothers(c) vs The Young Bucks

The Young Bucks and Lucha Brothers in a ladder match? Please and thank you! two of the best tag teams in the world going at it for the AAA Tag Team Championships. If you haven't seen the Young Bucks in a ladder match, do yourself a favor and go to youtube and pull up some of their highlights. They are the best tag team in the world for a reason and they constantly put on some of the best matches each and every time they are in the ring. The Lucha Brothers are just as good. These two teams put on a great match at Double or nothing and now there are ladders added to the mix. This match could easily steal the show and be the match that everyone is talking about after the event.

Kenny Omega vs Pac

Well it isn't Omega vs Moxley as it was supposed to be because Moxley had to pull out due to an injury. Omega could have just sat out of the event but if you know anything about him you know that just wasn't an option. Instead he will be going up against PAC in what is a match that will be PAC first under the AEW brand. He was supposed to go head to head with Adam Hangman Page at Double or Nothing but that ended up not happening. I fully expect his match to be incredible. These are two of the best wrestlers on the planet and they are going to put on an absolute clinic. Now the build to this match isn't going to be much due to how close we are to the event so that takes away from it a little bit. Who knows maybe we will get another surprise here and a certain someone who is from Chicago will be added to this match or make an appearance afterwards...more on that later on.

AEW World Championship Match-Chris Jericho vs Adam Page

The main event to crown the first AEW World Champion between Chris Jericho and Hangman Page. Two guys that can't stand each other will face off in what should be an epic match. We all know how great Chris Jericho is and if you haven't seen Hangman Page yet go look him up and see how great he is. The build to this match has been awesome with a couple of all out brawls between these two and a lot of great trash talking. This is going to be a physical battle between two top stars. I can't wait for this one and with the world title on the line you know these two will be at their very best. I can see it going either way as to who comes out with the victory as Jericho is a household name and would probably really help AEW gain some of the more casual wrestling fans. As for Hangman, him winning would be his chance to become the top star for what is going to be a new generation of pro wrestling. Either way expect this match to be the match of the night with one of them walking away as the first ever AEW World Champion.

On top of all of the great action that is set to take place, there is also a chance we could have a surprise that would turn the professional wrestling world upside down...with the event taking place in Chicago, Illinois its happens to be the home of one of the best pro wrestlers when he's not losing UFC fights. That's right ladies and gentleman while the chances may be slim and he has already said multiple times that he is done with pro wrestling there is always the chance that the one and only CM Punk could show up. This would create one of the most memorable moments in pro wrestling history. AEW does not need CM Punk to be successful by any means but by getting him they would become even bigger competition to the WWE and it would also be a big middle finger to the WWE by Punk. While my hopes for this happening are high, realistically it is more than likely not going to happen.
