UFC 242 Preview
Rise and shine we've got some early morning/afternoon UFC action on Saturday. UFC 242 comes to you from Abu Dhabi. The Lightweight Championship is on the line in the main event as we have the return of Khabib Nurmagomedov. In what will be his first fight since last October when he beat Conor McGregor to win the Lightweight Championship Khabib goes up against Dustin Poirier who beat Max Holloway back in April to become the interim champion.
Most people remember Khabib's last fight due to the post fight shenanigans where he jumped out of the Octagon and attacked members of Conor McGregor's team. He received fines, and a suspension for it and on Saturday makes he return trying to remain undefeated. Dustin Poirier has been on a tear since 2016 after he lost to Michael Johnson back at UFC Fight Night 94. In that time he has won every fight except for a no contest back at UFC 211 with Eddie Alvarez. He comes in as the underdog looking to shock the world and end the undefeated streak of one of the best in the world.
Here's a look at how the card looks as of now barring everyone making weight and avoiding any injuries in the next couple of days...
