WWE Crown Jewel Preview

This Thursday afternoon, the WWE is hosting another one of their controversial events in Saudi Arabia. There hasn't been much excitement surrounding the WWE as of late, Monday Night Raw has been fairly boring and Friday Night Smackdown had a solid debut on FOX but has since gone downhill. So, with such little excitement it's safe to say we are setting up for another disappointing major event. Lets take a look at what's in store for Thursday's show...

Mansoor vs Cesaro- This is one match that basically is on here because Mansoor is a hometown hero. I expect this to be somewhat of a quick match and for Mansoor to pickup the win.

Tag Team Turmoil-This just feels like a way to get as many people on the card as they can. This match will probably take up more time then it should and honestly if the Vikings Raiders don't win, WWE has officially given up.

20 Man Battle Royal-Another match to just get as many people as possible on the card. At least this battle royal isn't for some dumb trophy. The winner will take on AJ Styles for the US Championship later in the night. This has potential to create one of the bigger surprises of the night as whoever wins will have a chance to make a major impact, especially if they end up giving Styles a run for his money.

Team Hogan vs Team Flair-A Survivor Series match essentially a month before the actual show...There is a lot of star power in this match and we had a little bit of a preview of what to expect in a 6 man tag last week on Smackdown but again like two of the other matches on this card it just feels like they are trying to get as many people as possible on the card. This match should be pretty exciting and you can almost guarantee that Hogan and Flair are going to have some sort of physical altercation. Honestly, I have no prediction for this match because god only knows what is going to happen.

Tyson Fury vs Braun Strowman-The Lineal Heavyweight Champion of the World Tyson Fury will make his WWE in ring debut as he goes up against Braun Strowman. Two huge dudes going at it head to head in what should be pretty eventful match. How this match plays out will be based off of how Fury looks. When you put a guy who is used to actually punching people in a WWE ring, things can tend to go bad if he wasn't properly trained. Word is Fury has been working his butt off to learn everything he can about fighting in WWE. Hopefully, he picked it up quick enough and will look like he actually belongs there. There is no way and I mean absolutely no way Fury loses this match clean and the same can be said for Braun. This match is going to have a weird ending as both guys need to be put over.

WWE Championship Match-Brock Lesnar vs Cain Velasquez: Cain Velasquez made his shocking WWE debut on the first episode of Smackdown on FOX and will get his first chance to be a WWE Champion. After Brock beat Kofi in like 5 seconds to reclaim the WWE title, Velasquez showed up to rain on Brocks parade. Now, for the first time since their UFC fight Brock Lesnar and Cain Velasquez will go one on one. This is one match I am actually kind of excited for, mainly because I am interested to see how Cain looks in a WWE ring. I really can't see him winning but it is important for him to come out of this looking like a potential star. Hopefully this match can live up to the expectations and we will see what kind of finish they have in store for us as im expecting something weird to happen.

WWE Universal Championship Match-Seth Rollins vs The Fiend: After what was just an awful finish at the Hell In A Cell PPV, we may finally get the match we deserve between these two. The Fiend was the hottest thing WWE had going and they ruined it at HIAC by having the match end due to referee stoppage. This match will be a NO DQ/Falls count anywhere match. So there will be no stopping this one and that should lead to some pretty exciting moments. The only sad thing here is that we pretty much already know Rollins is going to win because he was drafted to Raw and Bray Wyatt was drafted to Smackdown. Sooo unless they plan on swapping the Titles you can pretty much bank on Rollins winning this one.
